Cincinnati Lead-Safe Certified Renovator

What is the RRP Renovation, Repair & Paint Rule? On April 22, 2008, EPA issued a rule requiring that renovators are trained in the use of lead-safe work practices, that renovators and firms be certified, following specific work practice standards. The rule is that if we are to remove any more than 6 square feet of painted surfaces in a room of your home that was built prior to 1978, we are to test those surfaces for lead. If the test concludes that there is lead, we are to work with specific removal procedures.

The rule also includes that we provide you with, “The Lead-Safe Certified Guide To RENOVATE RIGHT” handout. You can view the handout HERE
